Arabic Hour was founded in 1981 as a T.V. program on local channels in Boston, MA. Today, it is an online YouTube program. It is an institute staffed with volunteers. It serves to educate through its treasure of audio-video documentaries and interviews that it produced over the years. Arabic Hour plays an important role in challenging misinformation, fighting bias, and offering objective analysis on subjects that touch on the Arabs and all aspects of Arab life.

The TARI Board of Directors saw in Arabic Hour a good match with its own aims and programs. A TARI committee and an Arabic Hour committee met to explore the possibility of collaboration between the two organizations. After some deliberations, it was unanimously agreed to produce a series of UTube programs on Middle Eastern topics & topics relevant to the American & Canadian Arab communities. This collaboration remains alive today.
